Snow started falling in Alta Badia, Dolomiti Superski, on Friday morning & snow showers continue. Pistes were already covered since the snowfall a couple of weeks ago, & there is now over 80cm at village level this morning. Reports of conditions on the pistes which opened yesterday will follow in the next couple of days, as everyone is too busy enjoying the fresh powder!

The weather cleared yesterday afternoon long enough for our guest, to take this photo outside the chalet (Thanks Paul!). If you are familiar with San Cassiano, you may notice the new chalet next door housing the Ski School Office which has replaced Mauritz’s hut renting skis & sledges.
